Relevant extends its LC3 mission internationally through impactful mission trips to the Dominican Republic. Since 2015, we have built a strong foundation for this outreach, allowing us to deepen our commitment to serving communities in need. We continue to partner with SCORE International, sending dedicated teams to work alongside local missionaries throughout the year.

These mission trips offer our volunteers the opportunity to engage in various service projects, including community development, education, and outreach programs. By collaborating with local leaders, we strive to make a lasting difference while sharing the Gospel and the love of Jesus with those we encounter. Each trip not only transforms the lives of those we serve but also enriches the spiritual growth of our team members as they witness the impact of their service firsthand. Together, we are committed to fostering hope, faith, and change in the Dominican Republic, embodying our mission of love and service on a global scale.

Dominican Republic

In the Dominican Republic, we are blessed to use our years of experience in home rehabilitation to serve local communities in many meaningful ways. One of our ongoing projects is providing essential support to residents at La Esperanza, a local nursing home. We have supplied new mattresses and bedding to enhance their comfort and well-being, and our team spends time with the residents, offering companionship, encouragement, and prayer to remind them that they are not forgotten.

Our construction efforts have also made a significant impact: we have built five homes for local missionaries, a vocational training facility, and over 500 bunk beds for children attending Emmanuel House School. Emmanuel House is a unique institution in the Dominican Republic, providing critical educational resources and support for children with special needs. By creating a safe and welcoming learning environment, we aim to empower these children and offer them a brighter future.

Additionally, God has opened doors for us to minister to the people in the sugar cane villages around Juan Dolio. These villages face many hardships, and we’re able to come alongside the residents to share the hope and love of Christ, reminding them of God’s unwavering presence in their lives. Each interaction is an opportunity to spread faith, hope, and love, fostering a sense of community and belonging among those we serve.
